Both Apple Music and Tidal (and Google Music, Amazon) can afford to lose money as long as leadership want the service to stay online. I don't think it's sustainable for musicians to rely on cross financing via other services or VC money.
Further consolidation under under big tech conpanies would be a negative IMO |
