I am not bothered by the new UI/UX at all. Bitwarden still does what I need it to after many years of use. The major features are all working for me.

I also use 1Password, which has many more features. If "modernizing" Bitwarden is part of an attempt to make extra features easier to implement, then it's a good thing IMO.

Perhaps security-minded users are also more stubborn and less tolerant of change due to the already high levels of friction added by any attempt to be more secure. Also, for example, we can tolerate change in creativity software because at the end of the day the result is a pleasing dopamine release. When the result is just a working password manager, the satisfaction is often not enough to offset the growing pains.
