Object Pascal was sadly mostly gone by the time NeXT was acquired, C++ was the main Apple language already. Object Pascal got replaced with MPW environment, and a C++ version of Toolbox got introduced. Additionally Metrowerks with the PowerPlant C++ framework, was eventually the main Apple partner for Mac OS development. |
