I see founders struggle a lot to find the right ideas and understand what’s already out there. A semantic search engine for startups can help by showing ideas and companies that already exist, making it easier to brainstorm and build successful solutions. This is just a fun little side project.

Great idea and it works, I am already discouraged and inspired by the results. Did you create this to get inspiration of what you can do that sounds good and has no competition? Be aware, no competition is not always a good sign.

No, I actually work in VC and this is a great tool for us as well to look at competitors. But is also great for startups, because often they do not know everything that is out there because it is hard to find new startups on Google.

What does "I work in VC" mean? I know, venture capital, but what does it mean in practise and how is that tool useful for you?
