I'd point to Seabrook One (and the missing Two) for why we didn't keep building nuclear reactors as opposed to TMI. That is, trying to build a nuclear reactor reliably causes a financial meltdown. It doesn't matter whether or not the public is accepting of it if investors think it too expensive and too risky to build. |
