yall wanna throw money at yo problems when the solution is keep the backup recovery codes properly.
Sure. Where's properly? Your wallet can be pickpocketed, and your luggage stolen. Any of your digital accounts are theoretically protected by 2fa, and the hypothetical is that the device you use to 2fa was just stolen.
