- It’s a fact of life that people die. - Some of those deaths are suicides. - It is pure fantasy to imagine we can have a society with 0 suicides (when accounting scale, complexity and size). The choice then becomes: help, or punish. It is absolutely monstrous to punish, and helping does not mean killing every Tom, Dick and Harry with a case of the Monday blues. |
