I don't know any articles about it, but as a native English speaker that learned German and participated in a German exchange student program... The ones that first come to mind for me are: - The "th" sound. It's often pronounced like "z" (like the s in German's "sein"). So "that" becomes "zat". - W becomes V, ie, "When" becomes "ven". - The short "a" as in "cat" turns into "eh". "Laptop" becomes "Leptop". |
