Fwiw, I took psych101, sociology101 , and minored in philosophy.

I learned very little, certainly learned more just reading the books than going to class. Class was largely useless.

I'm surprised you didn't get anything out of psychology. The psych I took as an undergrad has been quite useful in my daily life.
How so?

Philosophy helped me to think critically and find edge cases. Psych taught me about different parts of the brain and their functions. Soci taught me my professor was a giant fraud and the entire discipline was a 'solution' looking for a problem.
