IMO, if I have to choose between managers that are technical “enough” and glorified babysitters, I go for the latter. Little knowledge is dangerous and causes more pain than help. At least glorified babysitters know that they don’t know enough and leave all the important tech decisions to the devs; that’s relieving. |
