>The theory behind it is that some mammals are somewhat less likely to be carriers When I was reading up on this several years ago, it's because smaller animals are highly unlikely to survive an attack by another rabid animal and are therefore less likely to carry rabies (and be alive). Larger animals are more likely to survive an attack and carry rabies. |
