Within seconds I found GFA basic (which I spent endless time programming in as a kid), and got it running. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how type an "=" (equals) character from my Mac laptop.

I switched to using Firefox instead of Chrome and now "=" works! :-) I'm using GFA Basic from https://www.atarimania.com/pgesoft.awp?version=29409
