This isn't a meme, it's a well studied phenomenon since "Bowling Alone" in 1995: https://melindawmoyer.substack.com/p/the-epidemic-of-male-lo... GP just put it in a cynical sense, but it's true. males connect a lot less than females. They are disportionately affected by factors like the fall of The Third Place or social media ruining face-to-face communication and plannings.
