> there are no dedicated off-road vehicles anymore, only luxury SUVs that no one can afford and no one would take off road. I saw a classic Willys MB -- an original Jeep -- the other day, and it really brought home to me how far modern "SUV"s have strayed from their roots. It was shockingly small, and open, and, yes, dangerous for modern roads, but also fun-looking. It would be at home next to a tuk-tuk. |
