There is a specific accessibility setting to reduce motion and prevent videos from autoplaying on iOS.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion and turn on "Reduce Motion"

Yeah this is super useful.

Also audio doesn’t autoplay on any websites. You have to interact with the page first for that to happen
