Dog, get a dog. Then, train the two of you well & go outside and let the dog play cupid for friendships and neighbourly bonds. Other people share a lot of your hatred, anger, depression as well as the deliberate positivity, compartmentalisation and even hypocrisy that we use to cope with all the fun we don't and do have in life. But you have to be direct and radically honest. You can't be fooled, anyway, you read those books. And what do you have to lose? |
