Congrats on the Show HN launch! > It's been 3 years of Gitlab post-IPO and they're still MIT, and that's the boat we're on as well :) I totally understand your optimism but keep in mind that GitLab was exploring a sale as at 4 months ago https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/google-backed-software... If they get bought or have a change of management, they might revisit the MIT license. |
