I have met two other Guyanese people in the US outside of friends of my family. One of them was actually someone I was friends with in Guyana. Purely by coincidence we went to the same US high school and came across each other in a hallway. The other had moved here when he was about 2 years old. Shouldn't be surprised. It's a country the size of England with the population of a large neighborhood in Brooklyn. |
