When people start to spiral over something that was said in politics, I often think of this from the HN guidelines: > Please respond to the strongest plausible interpretation of what someone says, not a weaker one that's easier to criticize. Assume good faith. I’m going to assume good faith, and do my best to not take on the anxieties of others. That doesn’t mean blind trust, but I don’t think it will be as bad, or as good, as people are projecting out there. |
