Endlessly courting Republicans who’ll never vote for them, having an empty platform and delivering nothing in four years, and (as the article mentions to its credit) their full-throated support of genocide did it. Why sell yourself out for losers who don’t particularly seem to care about anything you care about and just keep moving further and further to the right? That’s the calculus 10+ million Americans made. And what’s the takeaway from the big brains in the Dem machine? Americans just love fascism. Americans just hate women. Minorities and poor people are just too dumb to know what’s good for them. The platform of delivering nothing and scolding you lost and is going to continue losing. |
