It’s communication in that information is being passed, but it’s a one-way Bluetooth broadcast. It’s not any kind of two-way communication. At most an iPhone may be able to broadcast a Bluetooth message saying “anybody out there?“. I don’t even know if that’s possible. I’m sure Apple‘s white paper has the answer but I don’t remember it. |
