The American political and information ecosystem has a PH value inimical to such candidates. Between the two party system, swing states, electoral colleges, and Media warfare - policy is irrelevant, and tribalism / vibes are what matter. Essentially, your candidate could promise to import dissidents, be a tyrant, or contravene the values enshrined in the constitution - and it doesn’t matter. So a candidate could promise a 4 day work week, but be part of the team with a more constrained media system, and they will lose. |
