I read the article as a celebration that people are finally recognizing that living in reality has some merit. Reality being that men/white men are not "the enemy".
No that’s just the shit shoveling rags like quillette and Atlantic do. The author is insufferable and kept more on top of her schmoozing agenda than she did on figuring out why people voted. It’s like the article with the woman going into welding: looking, but not seeing. Fucking classists, they have no shame. It’s like they’re chronicling a page in their journal of investigations into alien life forms.
Wake me up when people start saying: “you know, if I was in your situation I would have voted for trump too.” Then, and only then, can we have a decent discussion around issues and solutions.
