The majority of the population who were eligible to vote, and actually decided to vote, voted for Trump, yes. That's not "America" for two reasons: "the majority of the population who were eligible to vote, and actually decided to vote" is not the same thing as "Americans", and choosing which option you prefer in a binary choice (where you have no influence on the two options) does not mean you like the choice you made. |
