Hey HN, this is Linus from LinusandLevi, a technology-first travel guide. (https://linusandlevi.com/)

We use Google Maps a lot, and created this platform out of a desire to find a place to buy and sell human-curated spots. You know, the hype places that AI would never know about.

DollarMaps is a marketplace where users can upload their pins on Google maps, which would then be available for purchase by other users. The platform would take a 30% fee on all sales, with the remaining 70% going to the map creator.

I personally believe this platform could be a great curated resource for travelers or people at home who are looking for new and unique places to go. It would also provide a way for local experts to earn money from their work.

I'm still in the early stages of development, but I'm looking for feedback on this idea. I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who love to travel and tour agencies about what features they would like to see in this platform.
