When I use Search supported LLM service, I've always do this question by myself.

1. What's the source of the Search?

2. Do they crawl any website to make an Index?

When I compare search results with Google (or alternatives) it shows some similar results. I hope it's just a part of happening for me.

For the source of the Search, it is shown in ChatGPT Search, so you can check it / get the link. On the index part, there is certainly some indexing, but it is on a small subset as I understand it (only "partners").
