Not sure it’s a problem. When I was getting trained to make video in the 1990 there was a counter narrative that the landscape orientation was anti-human, made people look fat, etc. I wanted to make a video that exhorted people to “turn their TV on the side” but it was not practical for a huge CRT. Little did I know how mainstream portrait video would become years later. |
