It's the other way around, isn't it? MagSafe was removed in the 2016-2019 model years (not sure why; maybe to shave off another bit of thickness?), and then brought back in 2020 to MacBook Pro and 2022 to MacBook Air. Personally, I practically never use MagSafe, because the convenience of USB C charging cables all over the house outweighs the advantages of MagSafe for me. |
