People want a desktop because they 1. can use a smartphone for all mobile tasks 2. see better on a large screen 3. are more comfortable with a mouse than a trackpad 4. don't have to worry about spilling tea on a laptop or dropping it on the floor. A keyboard is cheap to replace if that happens. |
