yeah, taking a personal financial hit on this would go some way to at least pretend to actually have tried preventing it. Not sure about this particular CEO's salary, but I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't finance a few engineers' salaries by cutting the CEO's, without it even hurting very much. Not saying it's enough, not saying that's the only way, but I find it peculiar that this seems to be unthinkable. |
