For context, they issued that statement on a Friday and on the following Monday the regulators officially charged with them with violating the DMA over steering and App Store fees. It seems reasonable in that light to have pumped the brakes on new iOS features when the DMA also targets bundling apps and services and iOS is labeled a gatekeeper. |
