Then there are infinity-x engineers, because some problems just aren't solvable by the worst engineers. Or even typical engineers. It wouldn't take them 10 times as long as Linus to make Linux or git, social context and all. It just wouldn't happen. So what's the useful takeaway from this topic we spend so much energy on? 'Hire people who are good'? |
