All this discussion about HW3 vs HW4 is moot, until Tesla first needs to achieve self-driving with HW4. By self-driving I mean a Waymo like driverless robotaxi (even it is geofenced). Tesla originally upgraded HW2 cars to HW3 in 2020 and now might have to upgrade HW3 to HW4 by 2026 (assuming they can achieve a commercial robotaxi service). |
