The news coverage focusing on election law missed something. This "giveaway" is very like the contests Mr Beast runs to make himself look generous but they're really illegal lotteries. It is unsurprising that Elon would use the same sloppy approach. But the FTC might have more to say about Elon's thing than the FEC. |
