I'm so glad I'm not in high school - my default writing style is eerily similar to ChatGPT and I'm sure I would be flagged constantly. My middle school English classes were dominated by sentence diagramming - I'm not sure that's taught anymore. I hated it at the time but damn if it wasn't effective. |
