Why does it have to be macOS but not a Windows app?

I too trying macOS only at first. Because Windows has can have of apps as alternative. macOS users are prefer to buy premium while majority of Windows users aren't.

Not sure. I mean, even that "minority" who buys software on Windows, has to be orders of magnitude larger compared to macOS userbase.
