It is a wonderful solution looking for a problem. I imagine there must be at least one landlocked country interested in the adventure. Someone long ago did a napkin calculation for me showing a hard vacuum airship made of reinforced concrete can work if you make it big enough. What are a few miles on the cosmic scale? |
