"They didn't get distracted into writing "architectures" when all that was needed was a "tool."" I'm fighting this fight right now :( Someone I work with feels the need to add 3 layers of leaky abstractions and a few anti-patterns (visitor patterns without double-dispatch for example) to solve every little problem. |
