Only the author "knew" Rust and it was hard to justify a new hire Rust developer to maintain this small set of tools. Only If I had a dollar for everytime this happens. Choosing a language for the company is a business decision. we have a similar issue with Elixir and now the entire team is spending a quarter just to get rid of it. For anyone building startup on LLMs , this is one killer application I would pay for. The generated code doesn't event have to 100% correct, just right enough for devs to tweek would go a long way. |
