I don't think its sting was removed. The line was: Fortunately there was no sting in the tail of this tale, and Ms Alonso-Mossinger said it now felt "like it is a funny story... but it was pretty scary at the time".
They sacrificed clarity for word play, but to me this means that no one in the story was stung. |
