Actually it turns out the scammers just use targeted marketing data like any other business to find out who to target with their scams. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-10-04/scammers-using-system... No need to have a person on the inside when they can just buy data on people who have ordered something recently and then target them with a scam text about their order. |
