...the parable (I hope it's a parable!) with the plumber is atrocious. You have a suspicion of a leak in the water main, and the plumber instead offers to re-do your whole in-house waterworks while evading the question whether there is actually a leak in the main, or whether our current in-house plumbing is failing. Oh, and also lying about the pressure regulators only being settable once, to boot. Just pay through the nose for all those wonderful new shiny things, come on, you planned on renovating your house in the near future anyhow, right? Why do you propose to us to be like this? |
