I have been doing Ruby on Rails for ~14 years but ~10 years ago I was confused and I picked up Nodejs thinking it is the future of software development. It only took me a couple of months to realized what Ruby on Rails offers & the vibrant ecosystem it has. I quickly pivoted back to it and never looked back. I'm very happy with that decision. Take that plunge and you will not regret it later. |
