The difference is that all of those other technologies have a rock solid abstraction layer. In my entire career, I have never encountered an assembler error [0], and have encountered 1 compiler error (excluding a niche compiler that I was actively developing). Current generative AI technology is fundamentally not that. [0] which isn't that impressive, as I've done very little assembly. |
