I'm still thinking about this comment 2 hours later, so I thought I would chime in. If you and your friends/family think $5.5M liquid is not enough to retire, I just want you to know, that you are in a very very elite and strange SV bubble. I don't live in SV, but I too know people with your net worth in SV, and they all act like they are poor and what they have is never enough. For this alone, I'd urge you to expand your horizons, maybe when you retire move out of SV or just spend time with people outside your circle. |
