It’s good intuition and explanation. I hadn’t heard of the problem before and looked at your comment before the article and the problem seemed trivial. Andrew will open boxes in second and third row before the other player, so in the case of the illustration he will open 2/3rds of the boxes first. If the columns are longer than the rows, Andrew would start to lose. |
