Interesting, so what makes an asset class investable or not? For me I think its will there be a continuing market given that it requires adult participation. I think Pokemon will no long be as there is a need for attachment when young and kids these days have more alternatives.

Thanks for responding. I actually tried to build an economic framework to determine what makes an investable asset class. I came up with the following 4 major areas, with each having 2 sub-areas.

1. Stability = Portfolio Balance + Asset Durability

2. Liquidity = Marketplaces + Intermediaries

3. Transparency = Price Transparency + Regulators

4. Liability = Tax Treatment + Maintenance Costs
