I think it is not so simple. It is not enough to have a good OS. In my opinion, what Linux needs from now is:
- a stardardization of APIs (drivers, UI, etc...)
- stardard technologies (such as C#, C++)
- a very good development environment such as Visual Studio
- very good documentation
- show the world how to earn money using this The wide audience needs straight ways to do things because most people like to execute, not to decide. |
