> “The ILA is fighting for respect, appreciation and fairness in a world in which corporations are dead set on replacing hard-working people with automation,” the statement said. “Robots do not pay taxes and they do not spend money in their communities.” A tale as old as Ned Ludd. I am interested to see how we reconcile the benefits of automation without leaving workers behind. Hopefully there are more cases similar to the creation of Microsoft Excel, where the automation tools largely helped the field grow. |
