Yeah, exactly. Do you really want to put that much effort because “redesign boo”? Makes no sense. Put the effort learning the new UI and move on. Every single “bring the old X back” project ends badly, you’re just extending your own pain by using those projects because they’ll slowly fall out of date. The only way to successfully “bring the old X back” is to convince the original vendor, like it happened for the Metro UI in Windows 8. |

TBH I kind of liked Metro back when it was used for XP Media Center. Win8 just did a crap job at integrating it with the rest of the system (and arguably repeating the same crap job with win10/11)
